Hello all and welcome to my blog. I hope to use this area to keep you up to date with events and from time to time with photos from weddings and such. I hope you all had a nice Christmas and New Year and if 2009 is the big year for you....whoooo.....scary! I'm sure you have everything sorted by now ;). I will be contacting everyone before their wedding day so we can get together and plan your photos. As i said to you before this little bit of preparation is worth a lot more on the day in time and stress and everything so i will be giving you a call about six weeks or so before your big day to arrange a time suitable to all. If you are keeping a scrapbook of pics which you like I'll take a look at it at this stage.

Well i took delivery of a mini lab recently which means that i can print quality photos on the spot at formals and wedding receptions and so on so if you want to make use of this service feel free to ask me about it when we meet up. It wont cost you anything, your guests pay to have their portraits done and by the time their sitting down to their soup its ready!! Many guests love to have a portrait done when they've gotten all "dolled up" and now heres the chance. 

I picked up a new camera and prime lens as well and gave it a run out on New years day as i had a wedding to do. It was a dull sort of a day but the bride had went for really strong colours for her bridesmaids and flowers and this contrasted beautifully with the overcast conditions to give a very 3dimensional effect to the outdoor pics. We went indoors as well (killymoon castle in case your wondering ) and the owner had lit a roaring log fire which i can tell you was very welcome.
